Well this weekend started off pretty good. on Friday i got off work early and picked up Waya so he could pick up his new glasses (he looks super adorable in them lol) . Then we decided to look around Sam's Club for a bit and this lady was doing a demonstration of those bad ass forever sharp knives that can cut through almost anything hehe. anyways i ended up buying a set for like 40 bucks and got a bunch of other free stuff with it so that was pretty cool. the rest of the day was ok just hanging out until Frisbee got there around 11ish and we just hung out and eventually went to sleep.

Got up on Saturday and went to the Crawfish Boil. Its a local event here that has bands playing all freakin day lol. It was AWESOME i had a blast. first we saw Bushwalla  ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLikz36L254 ) He was pretty good , he put on a good show but just not my thing .

Next was Shiny Toy Guns ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1DNoPkE0us ) . This band blew me away i had not heard anything by them until that day and it was simply amazing and they put on an awesome show them alone was worth price of admission and i do plan on seeing them in concert again when they come back to town.

Next was Filter ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FV8TVe_JN8&feature=related ) . They had a lot of energy but started off kind of blah. but by the 3rd or 4rth song i got into it and they worked the crowed pretty good. Don't really have much to say about them i was never a big fan but i liked a few songs.

Next was Everclear ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wv5IXya4jHc ) . For me this was my highlight of the night i have been an Everclear fan since they came around in 95 and i always wanted to see them live. i will admit they had some sound issues with the mics and it kept cutting out so you couldn't hear them but for the most part it didn't matter cause the crowd was singing everything and they put on a good show . was also the only band of the night to get a mosh pit going so rock on hehe

Next was Katy Perry ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yY3CehyfUko ) . She did an awesome job probably the best all around performance of the night . she sounded great and really got the crowd into it.  Don't really have much else to say really that covers her pretty well lol

Last was All American Rejects ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l06M-dsQf3Q ) they were great got no complaints here other then the fact i couldn't see much because of all the people in front of me lol . I would defiantly like to seem them again in concert . same goes for most of the bands that played.

We could have stayed and watched Snoop Dogg but we decided we would rather get out of there and beat the crowd and we didn't really have an interest in it lol.

Saturday was an awesome day with the exception of this annoying sunburn on my face and neck haha. i wish we could have went on Friday because then we could have seen Saving Able , Shinedown , Jason Mraz ,and 311... anyway after we got home we fixed some dinner watched a movie and went to sleep.

Today was nothing but lounging around and being lazy. well until we decided we was going to go out to eat. we went out to eat and while we were at the Chinese place it rained really fucking hard with high gusts of winds , hail . thunder and lighting it looked like hurricane weather ... on our way home we come over a hill and a car was stopped because a branch had fell on the road. when waya hit the brakes the skidded. he swerved to miss the car in front of us but there was another car coming in the other lain so instead of hitting head on the  ran into a ditch. everyone was ok waya bumped his head and i hit my knee pretty hard but that's about it. as far as damage to the car we don't really know yet but it looks like the wheel and axle is broke and some slight body damage. We had a few people stop and check on us and its nice to see there is some decent people out there. the really fun part was having to wait in the pouring rain for someone to pick us up. the cops didn't even offer to let us wait in their car until after the rain stopped lol. god cops are assholes sometimes. Anyway after all that was over just relaxed a bit more until frisbee went home and now here i am ... other then the accident and sunburn it really was a good weekend and i really needed it lol

16 long hours later and we are finally home from MFF. I had a blast and it was great seeing all my old friends and meeting a ton of new ones. Of course the PCDs are already kicking in but that's nothing new lol . Now i just have to wait until FWA until i can see everyone again ..... anyway to all of my new found friends feel free to contact me anytime to chat and what not cant wait to hear from you

Well i meant to do this earlier but i got lazy . its been about a week since AC and i must say i had a blast . i got to finally meet other furs in person that i have been talking to online forever and i made a few new friends as well . the drive up was long ... very very long and cramped and to quote  Waya "when the fuck are we going to get out of West Virginia" at some point in the trip we entered an area with one of the worst smells i have ever come across we decided it must have been Manbearpig or someone had set a deer on fire that had been eating bad shrimp and drinking spoiled milk .. anyway it was nasty lol . we had more fun adventures along the way like the van breaking down about 30 min. from the con .... thank god Tonka (our driver) was a mechanical wizard so we got there safe . i cant remember exactly when we got there but i think it was around 7ish . we had to take the stairs to our room on the 5th floor and it sucked both me and Waya had heavy bags and totes for our suits by the time i got the room i was ready to collapse . the rest of the night went smooth we got see Jake and the others and we got to meet one of the coolest girls i have ever met Lori a.k.a. zero fox . we also got to hang out with Static and Kio for a bit that was fun. Friday i cant remember much i know we met Sammy who is one of the coolest guys you will ever meet and hung out with him a bit. oh we also got to meet and talk with Wookiee which was awesome . Saturday we almost missed the parade but i got there as the line was leaving the main ballroom and Waya caught up soon after . the parade was fun for the most part but standing in the sun for the pic sucked lol ... i dint think i have ever been so hot in suit before it felt like i was swimming in sweat . so after the parade we got out of suit and cooled down .... as I'm writing this i realize i have a lot of memories and i had a great time but i cant think of how to put it all down in words so I'm just going to leave off here about the con . I did learn 1 thing though ... never plan anything at a con lol . we had planed to meet and hang out with different peeps and almost all of them fell through ... hehe it took us the whole on the get a hold of rev and we finally got to hang out with him a bit on Sunday night ..... anyways after it was all said and done i think it was the most fun i had a con. i guess that's why the PCDs hit me harder then ever .. it got bad at work on wed, i didn't feel like doing anything at all but I'm slowly getting better and looking forward to MFM that way i get my fix of furry goodness hehe ... i guess I'm done now hope to see everyone soon

FWA was AWESOME!!! ... it was the most fun i have had at any con so far...of course this was my first time suiting hehe. i got out more and met plenty of new friends and caught up with some old ones. hmm whats else..oh me and waya finally got the commission we paid daroneasa for back at RCFM 2007 .... almost a year later and im pretty sure she just drew it there .. anyways i also paid for another commission for me and waya lets just hope it doesnt take another year to get this one. the dances were fun as hell in suit i wasnt affraid to go out and make a fool of myself haha  we also pre reged for oklacon and im sooooo looking forward to that one. after the con we all went fursuit bowling and it was a blast even though we never finished one game. then went and ate dinner with alot of people from the con.....now that i im thinking about it i think im going to have a bad case of post con depression...anyways  we are home  now and getting ready for the next con which will be AC ... its to bad its not RCFM but in order to save money for AC we have to skip RCFM....guess thats all for now im sleepy from the drive ...

well today was my 26th birthday... it started off dull but got better as the day went on. waya got me a cookie cake and we had a friend over to watch some videos and what not. we ended up watching surfs up (hehe i love that movie) then watching the super bowl commercials online. i woke up this morning feeling miserable  my nose was stuffed up i had a sore throat  and my head was pounding. i hate being sick and i end up getting sick at least once a month i just hope im better by FWA.  Speaking of FWA still no word  on my suit  but i have all the faith in the world in joe after all he knows what he is doing  he  has been doing it for years . anyway i have work at 6am and i still feel like crap so i guess i should hit the sack good night all....im dreading work in the morning


oh i almost forgot i got my taxes all done on saturday and should have my refund  money  in the bank just in time for FWA so YAY ..... ok now im going to bed

today was boring . it was my day off and i just sit here and did nothing. right now I'm watching wrestling ... yes i know its fake but i have been watching for years and  now its more of a habit. i also did a mass invite on myspace looking for more friends. when it comes down to it i really don't have many friends in the furry world so if you read this then please feel free to IM me MSN: zander2000@gmail.com and YIM: vincent_valentino2000 ..... oh and we just finished watching "I Am Legend" i downloaded a damn good copy and burned it ... it wasn't bad it could have been worse . i do think resident evil would have been better if it was done something similar to i am legend but anyway guess ill go for now

well its almost time ... soon i will be a suiter YAY !!! waya took measurements just a little bit ago ... it took him a little longer then it should because i kept dancing in my undies hehe . anyway im really looking forward to FWA i just hope i don't make a fool out of myself in suit . i really want to be accepted . we have about 10 people staying in our room at FWA its going to be cramped but worth it . just means extra money to spend hehe . anyway i cant think of anything else to say so ill leave it at that

I told myself for my new years resolution I was going to start writing on LJ more often . Kind of a late start but better late then never . Now where to begin is another thing . I honestly have no idea what to talk about . Guess ill just throw out random thoughts . I have been living in Alabama now for almost a year now and so far so good . I have had lots of ups and downs but i still don't regret moving . i have honestly never been happier . Moving in with my mate Waya was the best decision i ever made . Yes he can be hard headed and stubborn at times but hes my Wolfy and i love him . The only thing i regret is it took me about 10 months to visit home and the only reason i did was for Christmas . One of the biggest reasons i didn't go was because someone who i thought was a friend found out i was a fur and was spreading it around ... nothing really became of it but the fear was still there .... not knowing who i can trust and thinking someone is going to jump me or something. i know that's how you can tell your real friends the ones that don't care who or what you are but its still hard because these are the people i grew up with good times and bad but that's enough about that i don't want to go into it to deep it only pisses me off . Now on to happy stuff I'M GETTING A FUR SUIT!!! hehe and it will be ready in time for FWA so I'm really excited about that . Waya is also getting a new suit .. well his is just a partial right now he just wants to update his look ... lets see let me think ...oh yeah my b-day is coming up Feb.3rd so that's something to look forward to because its my first one in Alabama and my first with Waya . Anyway I'm getting sleepy and I'm not much for writing anyway so ill see how far this new years resolution goes.
